Well after a good ride today i was putting my bike (05 Z750) to bed i managed to smash my right hand side peg in to the wall and the hanger just snapped in too, as you can guess i am gutted as i can't ride it now as the footrest is just hanging down.
So i'm just wondering if someone knows where i can find a new one and get it fitted as i've tried ebay but there isn't any on there. Is there any bike scrap yards in Bristol? Any help would be great as i could really do to get my bike back on the road as the weather is getting better.

I found only one on ebay, but its abit excessive on the price.

I'd look into getting a brand new one. I had to buy a new one for my gixxer when I binned it on an air ambulance charity ride out once (don't ask).

It wasn't too expensive, but second hand they don't come up very often.

Your other option is to take a look on the bright side and treat it to a set of tarty rearsets.

I've just rang Kawasaki and they said they are £50 plus vat, but i'm not to sure if that is for the part i need as i don't know the proper name. Also how hard are they to fit?

Does any one know any alloy welders that may be able to weld it back as it is a clean brake. I think it must of been cracked before hand as the prevoius owner had come off, it is like an inch thick and i didn't hit it that hard.

Have a look on www.bikebandit.com, they have exploded diagrams of componen or Cornwall Kawasakis site as they used to have on line micro fisches. Stuart is definately your best bet to get it welded but it will depend on the quality of the alloy whether it can be welded

As Yellow Peril said. Pop it along to Stuart. If it's repairable he's your man Wink
